Commercial Security // Project Estimator
Your commercial security estimate, on the spot.
Configure the property, the service, and the coverage, and the estimator returns a preliminary figure immediately: a monthly service estimate for recurring coverage, or a deployment estimate for one-time work. Nothing is hidden behind a form, and no figure is invented for work Century has not priced.
Project your deployment cost.
Type a city and state, and matching locations appear as you type.

What actuallymoves the number.
Every figure the estimator returns is built from the same six inputs. Understanding them is the difference between a number and a plan.
The service
Personnel services are priced by the hour. Technology services are priced from the configuration Century assesses at the property. Executive protection is scoped confidentially. The service you choose decides which questions the estimator asks.
Security type
Unarmed and armed personnel each carry their own approved hourly base. Armed is not derived from the unarmed rate, and it is applied across the same coverage schedule.
Coverage schedule
Hours per day multiplied by days per week sets the weekly hours. The weekly hours set the monthly hours. This is the single largest driver of the figure, and the one most often underestimated.
Coverage type
One-time or temporary coverage is priced on the deployment's duration in weeks. Recurring coverage is priced as a monthly service. The same schedule produces a different number depending on which one applies.
Service term
A recurring term of 3 months carries a 2% adjustment, 6 months 5%, and 12 months 8%. Month-to-month carries none, and 8% is the maximum automatic adjustment. Custom terms scale to the same ceiling.
Market
Estimator bases are quoted in Century's San Jose, CA base market. Other locations are factored for the estimate and reviewed by the team before any final pricing is confirmed.
A schedule isa number of hours.
Personnel and patrol estimates are priced on hours, so the schedule is where most of the difference lives. Monthly hours are the weekly hours multiplied by 4.33, the average number of weeks in a month.
Rounded to the nearest hour. For recurring coverage the monthly figure is what the hourly base is applied to. One-time coverage is priced on the deployment's duration in weeks instead, so a short deployment is not charged as a month of service.
Six waysCentury prices.
Century does not price every service the same way. Each service sits on one of six structures, and the estimator asks only the questions that structure needs.
Hourly personnel
An approved hourly base multiplied by the coverage schedule, priced on unarmed or armed personnel.
Hourly coverage
A single approved fire-watch base, priced by the coverage schedule. Fire watch is not term-adjusted.
Patrol service
Recurring operational security priced from an approved patrol base rather than an officer rate. Patrol frequency is captured for the assessment and confirmed there.
Technology configuration
An initial deployment plus a recurring service, both priced from the configuration assessed at the property. No placeholder figure is published.
Combined program
Every selected function priced on its own basis and totalled into one known monthly figure. Anything Century has not priced is marked Assessment Required, never counted as zero.
Confidential scope
Scoped confidentially around the principal, the movement profile, and the environment, then quoted from the assessed scope.

Before you trustthe number.
How accurate is this commercial security estimate?
It is a preliminary planning figure, not a quote. Final pricing depends on property conditions, equipment requirements, coverage, scheduling, staffing, location, service term, and the security scope confirmed at the assessment.
What does the estimate include?
The configuration you selected: the service, the property type, the location, the coverage schedule, the coverage type, and any eligible service term. The priced detail sits beneath the figure in the estimate panel.
Why do surveillance and access control show Assessment Required?
Those services are priced from the equipment, installation, and monitoring configuration confirmed at the property. Century does not publish a placeholder figure, and an unpriced component is never counted as zero.
Does a longer service term lower the price?
Yes. On an eligible recurring service, a 3 month term carries a 2% adjustment, 6 months 5%, and 12 months 8%. Month-to-month carries none, and 8% is the maximum automatic adjustment.
Is armed security more expensive than unarmed?
Yes. Armed personnel carry their own approved hourly base, which is higher than the unarmed base, and it is applied across the same coverage schedule.
How is the monthly figure calculated?
Weekly hours are the hours per day multiplied by the days per week. Monthly hours are the weekly hours multiplied by 4.33, the average number of weeks in a month. The monthly hours are then multiplied by the hourly base for the service.
What happens after I request the assessment?
The estimate and everything you configured go to the Century team. They review it against the property and come back with confirmed scope and final pricing.
Which markets does Century cover?
Century operates across California, Oregon, and Washington, with expansion under way in Nevada and Utah. Estimates are quoted from the San Jose, California base market and factored for other locations.
